General Rules of Durak:

• Deck: Players can choose either 36 or 52 cards.
• Objective: The goal is to discard all your cards; the last player holding cards is deemed the "Fool."
• Dealing: Each player receives 6 cards at the start of the game.
• Trump Card: The top card of the deck is revealed to determine the trump suit.
• Initiating Play: The player holding the lowest trump card begins; alternatively, the player who was last round’s "Fool" can start.
• Playing Cards: Players can defend against attacks using higher cards of the same suit or trump cards. If unable to defend, players must draw cards from the deck.
• Game End: The game concludes when all but one player have emptied their hands; the remaining player is labeled as "Fool."

Transferable Moves:

• The attacking player may pass their turn to another player, who must either defend against the attack or pass it again.
